They Taunt Me.....

Leave Comment
I've heard them from the camp porch........but have never seen them. Them being those tom turkeys that taunted me this spring from all compass points.

Sunday morning was the day. The day they let me set my eyes on them for the first time. I/we were not disappointed. Now Mrs Coalman actually believes I don't have a girlfriend at camp. That...

My Ladies.

I love my ladies. This weekend I took them both to the Green Mountain Shooting Preserve.

We went to sightseeing. Bay sat in the front seat between us the whole time. Mrs Coalman even saw a spotted fawn along the trails edge.

I love you ladies!

A small brain malfunction in my buddies boat yesterday morning in Great Bay caused him to drive up on shore at full throttle.

We took the USS Coalman out on search and rescue at high tide last night. Thank you Roc for your boat maneuvering suggestion of PVC pipe.

Swallow Migration

On our way out to ocean in the Merrimack River Monday night Roccus and I had to stop and bear witness to the ENORMOUS flock of swallows over the marsh.

It is the closest I have ever seen to a locust swarm. Glad I wasn't a mosquito that night.

Our view of the show was spectacular. The sun and wind to our back and the runway on the horizon.

Uss Coalman And The Pease Air Show

The wait has been worth it. The USS Coalman is parked in my driveway and has a launching date set for this coming Saturday.

I need to grease the prop and shaft, change my lower end oil, install new spark plugs and mount my fish finder. Other than that she is ready to go for the short season we have left.

This could not have been a better summer...
