Last year I hunted Colorado the openining week, we heard one bull bugle(happened to be in response to our cow call), but that was it. I'm going a little later in the season this year. Just wondering what week is usually prime as far as the rut is concerned?

3rd and 4th week you can usually hear some awesome songs :)

I've got some video you'd prob like to see, taken over in unit 36 of all the elk hiding on the Piney Peaks ranch....some awesome bugels :)
