OK now it is time to start to think about getting in to shape of Elkatraz

I need to know from the hunters that will need a place to sleep the day they are planning on being in camp so I will be there on the right day.

and if there is any thing you will need extra that I mite have to bring for you to use. if I have it I will bring it

I have the tent or tents, wood stoves, 4 cots, one or two lanterns. and any thing you may need.

I think told 4 of you I will have a spot for you in a tent. you know how you are
it will be the big tent from last year.

will it be ok with the 4 of you to share the same tent.?
or should I bring two tents and two wood stoves.?

 Well Ron I don't have a problem with that as long as they don't snore like Woodhick or Uncle Turbo MD. :P :P

And if they do I will sleep with my OL friend McBruce. :D

Ron I don't mind sharing a tent either. I plan on getting there sometime late the afternoon of the 14th and Bruce said I could use his camper that night so I am taken care of.

I arrive the 15th and leave the 22nd. I will bring most of my stuff. We talk about that. It would be good to have two lanterns.

Thanks so much for all you have and will be doing for us Ron. You're the greatest!!!

If you are uncomfortable walking into your tent and being greated by some of Ron's cabin staff that gives you a robe, slippers and the NY Times I would be happy to loan out my exclusive truck tent. You'll be happy to stay up late and head out early. The more time in the field the better your odds are. :D :D

This really sucks. As suspected, Melody and I will only have 1 day off for the entire duration of E-III so we won't be able to make it up to camp at all. As charter members of the Elkatraz club this news has us very depressed. Now we know how RL felt last year.

Pickle Bunny gets a reprieve this year. ;)

I am bringing in my cpamer on the 8th or 9th. Then Ill be back on the 25h thru the 19th at least. I have the whole week off but want to hunt antelope for a few days from the 20th. Will most likely let the camper there til the 29th or so.

Let me know how I can help if you need a ride or something, like water or bread or whatever.

I plan on bringing a sort of cot, a couple of air mattresses, a lantern and a small stove and a tremendous appetite for elk backstraps.

:o @ Jack! If you're speaking of the video that I think you're speaking of, you Sir, have just rubbed salt into the wound of not being able to attend E-III.

 @ Ron - I only need one day for my elk too. The problem is that their day is always different from my day. We have thought about making the drive up for the one day off just to say "hey" to everyone, but that's alot of driving. We'll just play it by ear and see what happens.
