Maybe this has been covered recently and I missed it, but for all you Elkatraz attendees - I just read a notice in the Sept/Oct issue of the Colorado Bowhunter Association magazine.

In an e-mail from the CDOW (Colorado Division of Wildlife)... "it is the interpretation of the Law Enforcement Unit that the use of a battery-powered nock on an arrow is illegal...our regulation on manner of take for handheld bows states that equipment using scopes, elctronic or battery-powered devices cannot be *incorporated* into or attached to the bow." Bob Thompson; Assistant Cheif of Law Enforcement, CDOW.

If that's the law it's just the law, we must abide by it. Mine is not to judge right or wrong, but to follow suit of what the law provides me with a baseline of.
