So do I Terry so do I. I hope to spend more time in this forum than the general/chat to stir up some interest.

the silence about E4 is deafening.

Guess thats why the Elkatraz forum got voted down.

Silvertip, talking about it this early is kinda hard, cause i REALLY don't know how my finances are gonna look in Sept. I hope i get to make it, but i just don't know yet.. I'm personally voting to go back to Unit 45.. now that i know the terrain a little better.

I'm sure hoping to make it out with at least one other PA hunter....but he's interested in a rifle hunt....although he's an excellent archery hunter :shifty: . I just have to iron out details with MA, Huck, Chris, MA, MA, new employer....etc!!!!

Hey I just got the Colorado book and the rifle cow permit is listed again in there. If Elkatraz 4 is scheduled during that time then all would have a chance at the same time like we did last year. Be warned the application deadline appears to be April 3rd this year. The license I am refering to is listed bottom right on page 29 first entry for unit 45. That is the one Elkhunter40, Eric and I put in for and all of us got them. After hunting the area last year I would feel much more confidant this year. I don't know if RonElkhunter40 will be there this year as he spoke of other plans.

I gotta get out of MN to hunt something!! With all my future summer plans and the money I'll be putting into those things I think I should start putting away my pocket change in a coffee can. I'll defiantly try to get there; we'll just have to see what happens.

;) Well it's good to see a few interested and a few more just thinking it over. Maybe it'll work out great again. Personally I hope it's in 371 as its closer to Denver and I can attend more. Plus when I was up to 371 before I actually flushed some elk, something that hasnt happened to me in unit 45.

I'll be hotelling it this yr as I sold our camper three week ago and have no where to stay.

I do that. Every week I head to the garage to my hidden Folgers can and dump my change. Almost full now. Hope the wife dont need an empty coffee can.

Good luck saving, it's becoming the American way with total savings UP in this country by 1%.

And hope to see y'ALL at E4.
