I just added a B-square shot gun scope saddle mount to my remington 870 today i also used burris rings and i topped it with a bushnell sportsman scope for the ft.knox opener next month provided i get to go. I'll be trying her out on wed. morning down at the farm ..

Hey Dennis, this is a little late but how do you like that mount. I won't be using my scope on my gun this year because I have a scope base and its a real pain when the screws get lose. So I was wondering how you like it because I think I might try that next spring.

THanks

Hey Run, try using a thread locking compound on your base and scope mounting screws. You can get Loc-Tite from your local hardware or auto supply store. Make sure you use the NON-PERMANENT stuff. For Loc-Tite, it's the blue liquid #242 I think. Just a small dab on the threads of each screw will suffice.

If all else fails, a dab of your mom's fingernail polish will do the same thing. ;)

I put a B square on my Remington 870 Super Mag and put a Bushnell Trophy red dot on it. I sure like the way it works too and at the end of turkey season I just take the B mount off and leave the scope intact. Easy to mount and dismount...no issues thus far and haven't missed a bird since install...
