have any of you hunted squirrels with this round and how did it do?

I haven't tried it Bill but I wouldn't use the 17HMR for squirrels. It's a little too potent.

The Mach 2 would be my bet for squirrels ;)

Love the .17..But yes to powerful for squirrel's,I shot one in a tree.The bullet hit it so hard,it was pushed away and I couldn't find it..... :rolleyes:
