I gotta admit. I'd have thought the blackpowder would have rusted worse than any of them with it's potassium nitrate content. Potassium Nitrate is a major rust accelerator. I know Pyrodex has potassium nitrate in it as well but I believe it has less. Apparently potassium perchlorate in Pyrodex makes it a worse oxidizer. Truly I wouldn't have thought it would fair so badly. Thanks for your efforts. I certainly learned something.

The lawnmower blade steel probably isn't too different in Metallurgic content to worry about. I would guess most likely it's 1018 or 1020.

Common Barrel materials would probably be 1137, 1141 or 1144. They will rust at different rates true but I believe that relatively the worst will still be the worst and the best the best.
