I received this e-mail from my friend today, Indigo is her 4 year old granddaughter -

Just wanted to let you know that Adam's daughter Indigo has cancer. I've been at the Denver Children's Hospital this past week with them. They airlifted them out of Montana when she was diagnosed with Wilm's Tumor, the fastest growing cancer known. They removed her kidney (3 lb tumor) and some lymph nodes. There was 2 tumors on her other one, but they weren't malignant. We were lucky! Her cancer is a level 2, meaning she'll have 18 to 24 weeks of chemo and will have to be monitored until she is 8 years old.

Please include them in your prayers.

Praying for Indigo as I type.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.
Remember the Ark was built by amateurs, the titanic by professionals.

Interceding for Indigo. We can never understand why things like that happen to such an innocent child but only trust in HIM who continues to build in us the faith to believe. I read a small excerpt called rain about a little girl born premature at 1lb. Diagnosis was that she would never walk or speak and so on. She ws so fragile no one could even touch her because it would cause sever pain. When she was 8 her and her mother were at a baseball game watching her brother play. The little girl all of a sudden said "do you smell that?" Her mother said yes it is the smell of rain before a storm. She again said "no, do you smell that?" Her mother puzzled said "yes, I smell the rain." A few minutes went by and again she said, "I smell him." You see while she was in intensive care and no one could hold or touch her little 1lb. body the LORD JESUS was there holding her to HIS chest and consoling her. It was the fragerance of HIM she was smelling. When nothing makes sense and you think no one cares, turn your eyes towards heaven because HE cares.

Well add her and her family to my prayers. That she gets well soon and the God is with her during her treatments so she feels no discomfort or pain. Kids should never have to hurt.
