Well I finally got some luck. Walked into Walmart today and was talking to the guy in sporting goods and a customer had brought a CVA Kodiak back. It had been shot and the ram rod was broke. But being dirty they can't sell it for the price it sold for. I got it for $100.00 plus tax. Got it home and cleaned it. Now all I have to do is get a new ramrod for it. It is the camo and blued model.

Congratulations on the new rifle. I am sure it will be a good shooter.

CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION. You are about to enter an area of rifle shooting that is very addicting. To avoid this plague from befalling you send, that rifle to me as I am already infected. Lol Good luck and if you have any questions just print them in English and we will have at it.

Santa came to your home a little late. But better late then never right Frank. Congrats. In Ohio that's the best thing going for rifle hunting because that is the only rifle you can use less it be a slug gun. Best of luck with your your new toy. ;)

Too late I was already bitten years ago this is my third muzzleloader. Already got a scope mounted and bore sighted now I got to get to the range. I have to make a 25 mile trip for powder and powerbelts. My local source went out of business. Will let you know how it shoots and maybe post some pics if I can figure out the web cam.

Yes., I've been bitten too! I got a big muzzleloader bug stuck on my ear & it won't let go! I'm thinking about getting one-the Kodiak is one I've been looking at. Let me how you like it Frank...

If I ever get time to go to the range to shoot and it is above freezing. Local indoor range has a problem with smokepoles on the range. To many complaints about smell.

Spirithawk one wiff of that smoke and you are hooked for life. Besides it is a lot of fun but don"t tell anyone or they will get hooked too. Soon there will be so many that we will be blamed for global warming.
