Remember the Ark was built by amateurs, the titanic by professionals.

I don't share this with too many folks but here goes. My dad had very bad R. Arthritis the last 20 years of his life. Yes, he spent those 20 years in a lot of pain but he didn't give in to it. He could have become morose and withdrawn, but instead he kept a big smile and a sense of humour right to the end of his life. It was that living testimony that got Melody and I both to thinking, "What is it about Dad that makes him different? Where does this amazing strength come from?" The answer, of course, was his walk with Jesus. That was the turning point in our lives where we began to seek what my Dad had and eventually gave our lives to the Lord. Even our pain, our infirmities, the very sicknesses and illnesses that inflict us can be used as a testimony to our faith and where our strength comes from. I'm not trying to be depressing or anything, just trying to let you know that God is not going to leave you because of a failing body and He can use you no matter what your place in this life. Hang in there buddy, you got a new sport model body waiting on you. (decades and decades decades from now! )
