Hi All, Dave (MD) asked me to post this for him. Got off the phone a few minutes ago and Dave gave me the bad news. His wife's heart is only capable of functioning at 15% capacity. The Doc said the only thing they can do now to control her heart beat is to put her on a fibulator (spelling?) and meds. According to Dave the long term outlook is not too rosey but both Randi and Dave are keeping their hopes up and sounded pretty positive considering the circumstance. I would like to ask all of you as your friend to keep both Dave and Randi in your thoughts and prayers as we do.

Many thanks for the update. Dave and Randi have been on my prayer list for a long time and will continue lifting them up.

Thanks Woody. I have been burdened all day about this as I almost lost my wife last March to heart trouble. I will continue to stand in the gap for them.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Randi's heart is only functioning at 15% of blood fusion which is what the heart pumps out blood. The normal heart pumping is at 65% blood fusion. The doctor told us that two thirds of her heart is not functioning at all. On Thursday Juanuary 18th she is have a defibulator - pace maker put in, she will have to stay over night for this procedure. They have put her on some new heart meds to help the heart work more efficient. She is in low spirits at this time. The name of the desease is Cardio Myopathy, which will never get better. They told us that she may need a heart transplant sometime down the road if she is a candidate. So it is a waiting game to see what is going to happen. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
