Hello all,

Long time no see. Seems everything in my world is just so hectic. Codie, my 14 year old son is just finishing up basketball. Had a great season. Only lost 3 regular season games and 1 Holiday tourny game. I think they ended up 12 and 4 or 13 and 4 on the season. Placed #1 in our division of the conference and the conference toury starts next weekend. We stand a very good chance of winning it. My daughter MaSena, 8, just finished up her basketball season also. She is still in the learning stage playing buddy league. So, needless to say, I spend about 20 hours a week in a gym either watching a game or a practice.

Baseball starts up just as soon as basketball is over and I have been hired as an assistant on the middle school team. The same kids I coached in Little League and over 5 years went 96 and 9. Sooo, we stand a pretty good chance at some trophies there too.

Codie killed his first buck this past season too. A really nice 8 point that we are getting mounted. Hopefully I will have some pics posted here pretty soon.

In the meantime, I really look forward to getting reaquainted with some of you guys from the old BSOTH boards and also get to know all you new members here.

Take care and may God Bless,

Steve

A legend... One of the original "Secrets of the Hunt" members, for those who even remember back that far. (We're a dying breed, my friend. :( But, it's all good.)

Welcome Home

This has kind of got me wandering. How many guys were Secrets of the Hunt members too? I first joined back in 01, because of the SOTH contest, which I actually won, that I saw advertised on the show. I stayed because of the quallity of the members and have been a member ever since. I've always been the kind of guy that picked my freinds very carefully. I believe if you have even just 1 TRUE freind in your life then you're truly blessed. Here we are blessed beyond measurement for this site is not just about hunting. It's about the bond of true freindship and the love of hunting that drew us together. To me we have gone from strangers that love hunting, to freinds, and now I feel we are family. I'm mighty proud of that.
