Foss, on our trip out to SD this last fall the number of dogs was way down.
SD has been doing a poisoning program.
Better for the ranchers and their livestock.
Just not as much fun for those of us that like to see the fur fly.

We got more of those little critters then you can count. I used to work on my trigger press with my M4 using them as live moving targets. You can head shot one of those little guys at 150 yards w/ open sights you could take about anything out.

Fatty ;)

It gets expensive shooting them buggers with the 220 swift unless ya reload.
First time out to SD I spent over $80 shooting the Swift at them with factory loads.
This last time out I took the 22-250 along.......much less expensive.
Schulls (sp) sporting goods had 50 round boxes of 22-250 for $18.50
a box of 220 Swift were $19.

Yes I reload, equals out to 50 cents a pop, instead of a dollar............I don't think you need a license for any state to shoot dogs,if so its just a small game, which is a couple bucks ;)
