The Browning BLR already has elk blood on it, so I am hoping that blessing finally brings me some luck. The rancher that I bought it off of got him a elk last yr at 600 measured yards with one shot using some brand of factory ammo with Scirocco or SST bullets.
I also bought the .223 off the rancher friend but he hadnt had time to do more than sight in since he got it. Took took the new 3-9x40 Busnell off it and put it on wife's 30-06 to replace hers that broke internally last elk season. I put a 4-16x40 Tasco High County on the .223 and cannot hardly contain myself til I get out and put the whup_ss on some coyotes(they kill wayyyy more elk & mulies than I do).
I guess thats enuff gun buyin for 07. I need now to work out time to shoot em and get em zeroed. Then just hunt...
