For the past couple years my wife and I have gone down to hunt wild boar with bows at the Shiloh Ranch.

This place is great, inexpensive($295 per person for a 3 day hunt) and loaded with pork!! Matt and Cheryl Napper are great hosts and really know their business.

My wife and I like it so much we have made it an annual thing. We go every NewYears. I would highly recomend it to all.

Nontypical3 the place sounds interesting like to know more myself. Website would help if they have one.

Oh come on bro, you can't post a review like that and not even tell us what state your hunting in?

Post a link, so we can check it out.

Kinda like handing a thirsty man an empty canteen!

Okay, I took the time to find the site. Located in South Central Oklahoma.

Thanks Marty. The web site was pretty basic with very little information about the operation. I liked the look of the place sort of. I wonder how many acres are under fences or enclosed? Their website just didn't sell me.

I liked their cut away hog better than the one I have saved that was in their photo album. We were discussing this on another topic and theirs clearly shows for shot placement and the anatomy structures better.

If it were closer I'd join in on making some bacon with a sharp stick and bow.

Kinda missed the getting together hunt thing this past month. :(

Okay if Marty can use his thunder & smoke stick then that's got me thinkin??

Looking at a map Denver, Co is about 13 hour drive or around 800 miles one way and Columbus, OH is 950 miles or 15.5 hrs on the road. That's darn near half way. If we plan this out far enough I'd sure consider hunting with all you guys there.

How far is it for you Marty?

Anybody else want to go?

Looks like they are about 90 miles Southeast of Oklahoma City. I would never drive that far, I would fly. Driving really bothers my neck.

I also, surprising, read an article on this ranch in Safari magazine last night. The aurthor gave it good reviews.

Sounded like more of a hunt and not just a pig farm..
