First time in over 3 months the temp went above 0(....and the sun was out) so a few of use went to try our luck on the local jackrabbit population. Most of them ran out to about 400 or 500 yds before stopping. These two were tagged at about 150yds.
Stevens 200, .243, 100gr. Hornaday BTSPs with a Tasco Mildot 4X10X40mm scope. Was a nice afternoon.

Good shooting congrats. I finally did some shooting today too but with a flintlock which I reported in the muzzleloader thread. Man it sure feels good to squeeze off a few rounds especially at super bunny.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.

Great Job!! I finally figured out how to cook those guys this year.

Next year I'm going to take a few more bunnies out while bowhunting deer.

Made a real nice stew with the meat. Turned out one of the best stews I`ve ever made. Very tender meat. These bunnies are all grain fed too.
