Supposedly it's been received in Houston. In my heart I feel it is there. But I have zero written confirmation that it is. I would hate to loose these things now that I've gone through all the trouble to get them here. They still haven't even made it to the taxidermist yet.

Huck and I are the only ones from our group missing stuff. Everything was shipped by the same carrier. So it shouldn't be a problem.

I feel guilty asking for prayers for this, but I certainly feel this group understands.

If there is one thing I am confident of it is that God cares about all aspects of our lives. Nothing is too small to ask for and the Bible clearly states that we have not because we ask not.

With that said, I will surely enter into agreement that you recieve your goods intact if that is what is being believed for.

I know what you are kind of going thru cause I'm still waiting patiently for my bison from Wilson's in Tenn. and it's been over a year now.

Oh now kids!

Your goodies will show it just takes time.

Rowdy,

I know the bison had a big holdup at ALL the taneries. It might just be that. It was over 18 monthes before my cape even returned from being tanned due to this holdup..

Thanks folks. Still no word. But I'm am definitely buoyed by your belief and prayers. I do believe it will get done. The nerve wracking thing for me is that the taxidermist doesn't even has his hands on the stuff yet. I know it will be 6-8months after he does. I'm fine with that I expected that. I expected shipping to take a long time. I just didn't expect to not get written confirmation as to it's status when it got here. Supposedly it's in Houston but I have no proof.

Rowdy, Grady Wilson will get yours done. He's done two mounts for me and I like his work. I wouldn't have a problem sending him a deer mount. My Africa stuff is going to Denver to someone Huck has used before. Dealing with dipped and packed trophies is frankly different from what most U.S. taxidermists deal with. Marty's right it's most likely a Tannery Issue.
