Well boys and girls the time for practice is about over elk season starts here Sept. 1. My gear is packed and waiting for that glorious morning to arrive. :) Are you all ready? eeeeeeoooooowwwww

You got that right Jack!! I'm leaving on Sept 10th and will be hunting thru the 23rd. Can't wait to feel that crisp mountain air and hopefully hear some bulls bugling!!

Jack how true but did you forget on August 15th archery antelope opens :yes: Hopefully this prolonged drought don't keep us out of the Forrest. Remember in 1988 it was close for two weeks because of high fire danger like it is now :(

I hope the forest stay open for archery, finding private ground will be hard to do if they close access.

We will be heading to the Columbus area first week of Sept. to chase some antelope. I thought I might try things when the rut is going stronger this time and hopefully have a little cooler weather.

Wyoming starts Sept. 1st, but not a bowhunter.
