Jason has been wanting a nice Muzzleloader so he just bought himself a new CVA Omega .50. Camo stock with blued barrel and action. He topped it with a matching camo Bushnell Banner scope. He's thrilled with his new toy and I'm sure thrilled for him. Anyone shoot an Omega? If so, how do you like it?

Spirithawk are you sure you don't mean Optima. Omega is a Thompson Center model. ????

Well I am sure that he will have good luck with his new rifle. I wish him the best of luck with it.

I was just yanking your chain a little.
Now is it an Optima Elite, Optima Pro or just an optima 209 Magnum. If I remember that model has the capability of interchangeable barrels too.

I don't have any experience with this model of CVA though.
