Well I killed my first Elk on Monday 10/15 at 9:30. It was a nice 6x6. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me but another hunter who was hunting with us did. He's still there and will be leaving Sat.
I left Wed at noon and got home at 8:00 pm Thursday. I had a 30 hour drive and we drove it straight through so we could get home with the meat and cape.

I will have a picture posted as soon as I get them.

We were hunting just South of Jackson Hole, Wy in the Bridger-Teton area.

Will post picture soon I hope

Can't wait to see the pics. My first elk has eluded me on a few occasions...I can't wait to know what it feels like to kill a bull elk. Congrats!
