This deer was taken around these parts last week by a local boy, Kyle. A bow hunting buddy of mine sent me the story below and the link.

http://www.monstermu...o...umID6&omm=0

This is the son of a buddy of mine. They brought this 20 X 28 bad boy by the house the evening Kyle shot it. I could see the antlers sticking up out of the bed of the pickup when they drove up and I knew right away that Kyle had done something special! Right now the buck is setting at 314 6/8 B&C points. However they have some questions for B&C on how to score a crown and potentially could add another 6 inches to it.

I've hunted with Kyle and he is a special kid who loves to hunt. He already has a 360 bull elk hanging on the wall.
Congrat's to Kyle!

He's got to be over flowing with the luck of the gods. Deer of several life times. What an impressive magnificent animal. Tell him congrats, like he's not overwhelmed with that already.

Taken from B&C Trophy Watch

UPDATE: Official Measurer Roger Selner green scored Kyle's great non-typical at 303. It has 25 points on the right and 16 on the left. Roger brought the buck by B&C's Headquarters this morning. It's definitely an impressive trophy.

yeah, Eastman's picked the buck up from Kyle and are getting it mounted for him then are going to take it on the road. Kyle is already booked for several events this winter and spring. From being a regular old Jr. High kid and going hunting with your dad to instant celebrity status. I am hoping the poachers, trespassers and other antler collectors don't flood our area now. :(

Maybe it will be on show in Denver Jan 24 or so at the Outdoor Show. That would be cool. I KNOW that boy has got to be proud. They already mentioned the buck roundabout in the latest Eastmans Hunting Journal but I forgot what it said. I do recall the details would be in the next issue.

And I hope you dont see some of the latter Larry.

Congratulations to Kyle man what a buck. How come all those really big buggers get taken out of the gene pool while I am not there. Serves me right for not hunting Montana this year.
