Mostest, biggest, heaviest, blackest, fattest, Renovo has it all. (The bear not the women). The Boone and Crockett club may relocate to Renovo.

Once again my real home county hits the top 5 black bear hunting places in world:

So if ya want big bear, go to Renovo.

Silver, we had about 8" of snow overnight at camp in Clinton County which made it tough to see in the woods but there were bucks chasing does all Monday morning. Charles got to see one of the mountian brutes ....now he can't sleep!
We only heard about 5 shots all day from 2 guns that were a long way off.....it'd be sweet if they extended bear into the opening day of bear !

Let's be clear it was a monster Buck. We saw no Bear.

In fact this Buck stood 30 yards away from the stand I was in and grunted for all he was worth. A real treat to see, just wish I could have shot him, Dooh!
5-November-2008 - Today is the first day of the down fall of American as we know it.

Heaviest PA bear so far this yr is 712# from Port Allegheny. Clinton County had the most bears killed.

I think state record is 828#, nothing like that anywhere in North America.
