:heat: Took the first hike this morning to start getting ready for CO. in Oct.
Judd & I headed out into the snow encased State Forest for a flintlock hunt. Judd was hoping to get a crack at a doe and I carried a shotgun for yotes & grouse. I hiked about a 3 mile circular route through about 6 inchs of crusty snow. Sure was a beatiful time to be on the mountain ! ....Sure was surprized to find a set of bear tracks on top....latest date I've ever seen for one to still be out.

It rained hard here today and ruined my bowhunt for deer - so here I sit. :(

No HOHO's for Larry. Remember with bears, you dont have to be the fastest person, you just dont want to be the slowest. If thats you then cheat!

Larry the object shown is a very dangerous piece of equipment do not let Melody see this. It is Ho Ho locater and destroyer all in one. I believe it was developed by Nabisco to ruin those Little Debbie products.  :D

 And I thought that you were talking about your Chev by the title of the post! Glad that you are getting out and about and seeing the sights. How come you didn't follow the bear home, and take it home with you? Hope that you managed to get a few grouse for the pot. I'd be real hungry after a hike like that.   Wait a minute!   :o I'm always hungry! What time is lunch? ;)
