Man to have CASTERS in the Money so to speak. Or the Money(s) in CASTERS now that would put us in the big leagues for sure. I even noticed that they sell Ho Hos around here. I could shoot off a branch and we could tie a ho ho on the end and hook the other end to Larry and there would be no stopping that guy.

Well Larry....you could arrive the 2nd week of DEC for reg. rifle season and have fresh venison to take to Florida.....or Flintlock season comes in the day after Christmas for 2 weeks. ! ;)

...I watched the video of the hunt tonight and discovered the last 10 minutes were all black due to leaving the camera on while I had it stuffed in my game pouch

You've got that right on both accounts, Larry. Just ask Will. Hopefully we'll see you two at one next year.

Eric, you make one of the best dog/mules I've ever met. Phil, you ain't to bad either. Remind me the next time we get together to give you both a giant Scooby snack.

Yote/Fox hunting here at the farm in February sound like a good time to get those snacks?

Alright, well, we'll file the idea away and get with you next fall. For us the post-Christmas muzzleloader would probably work best if we can make it up that way. Is it flinlock only or can I bring Belcher (my cap lock)?

Larry the late muzzleloader season is a flintlock affair only. Sights are open or peep. I am sure we can scare up a rifle or two for you guys to use. Of course if you could borrow one to shoot out there at least you would be used to the firing mechanism of a flinter. They do take some getting used to as they are the slowest ignition of all. Hey if it was easy we would have layed a bunch of deer down on Saturday. It is a bit shorter range affair too. I can hit out to about 100 yds but prefer a shot where the deer has scorched hide when all said and done.

Well Charles all I can say is I have had LOTS of practice at chasing deer for many people over my 26 years of hunting and I also enjoy helping others in connecting on a whitetail.
NO scooby snack needed. We will make it down in Feb to hunt yotes so you just make the time and the rest of us WILL show up.

Once again thanks for a great weekend and I pray we all can do it again this year. :D
