In the archery not much but tonight the stars were aligned for me. Here is the new bow I got tonight, it cost $399. It is the Patriot II I asked everyone about a couple of days ago. I don't think I beat the deal I got.

I guess you did get a deal around here that is about a tank of gas.

The O-rings on the post on that cam don't last for squat. Get a piece of surgical tubing about the length of the post and squeeze that on it ;)

A replacement tubular slingshot band is the right size tubing. They are only about $2 if you can't get the tubing anywhere else.

Enjoy that bow! You did good.

Did you get to shoot it yet?

FOR FOUR BILLS Fantastic deal! Looks like it ought to hunt. Bowtech's line of bows from Diamond archery look alot like this one but I'm not that familiar with this bow. Like Leo said it's a beaute. :bigthumb: Congrats.

Sheesh, we retailed that bow between $650 and $700 when it came out if my memory serves me correctly.

Definitely worth more than $400 new... Steal!

You're right Jer,

The original price was $669 marked down to $469. Then I had a friends and family card for 15% off any and everything the other night.

I'll be waiting until after my daughters birthday before I set it up. That way we can set both bows up together.

Our Sportsman warehouse had the same sell and my buddy also bought the patriot, he seems to really enjoy it. I went with the Ross Cardiac.
