My buddy is driving in the red van and was day dreaming about the past week of great fishing when around the bend he sees the moose reading the crossing sign.

You better believe those signs are for real.

Mark:

Lorrie ( who you met in Sask ) sent this story to me today, perfect timing on your post as well ;)

MOOSE STORY

The following pictures are of a moose
that went through a car's windshield
and out the rear window this month
near South River, Ontario.

The VERY lucky woman driver ended up
with just a broken wrist and needing
a good bath. When you view the pictures
you will wonder how the woman managed
to survive.

OMG! In a blink of eye I think the saying goes you see your life pass before you and I bet she did. Dang I can't imagine it. And what a shame killing that cow moose. I hope she got the back straps.

Oh man she was very lucky. The lady not the moose. In addition to being big and quite heavy a moose is very tall and if hit by an automobile it is going to come over the hood of anything but an 18 wheeler or a freight train. A moose crossed the road about 100 yds ahead of our party in upper Ontario and we all got to see it as we passed by. That thing was huge.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.
