:o This is the time showing on the website this morning - "Time is now: 24th April 2008 - 07:35 PM"

My computer system time here in the Pacific Daylight timezone is: April 27, 2008 - 9:41 am....a real long way from the time showing on your website.

Your site does not correctly report the times when posts are made. Please let me know how this site can record the correct dates for birthdays and such when it appears to be in a timezone from another planet.

Thanks for your kind assistance with this matter.

Deb

As has been mentioned before, the time displayed is what you set it to be.

Click on "My Controls" near the top of the page.
Scroll down to and click on "Board Settings" under the "Options" heading on the left.
Set the appropriate "base time zone" and DST (daylight savings time) setting(s) there.

Personally, I'm in the Eastern Time Zone (GMT - 5:00 hours) with DST in effect and the system time shows Apr 27 2008, 01:44 PM - which is exactly right. :)
