Aaaah milk dud machines. Sure nice to see that the elk survived the winter in such good shape.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.

Thanks for sharing those Bruce. They look to be in good health after the long winter.

It still just doesn't look like spring there and the antler growth is coming along pretty good.

Bubba: Great photos of the elk in velvete with their maturing antlers and the lower Ten Mile mountain range. What mountain is that in the background of photo#1 ? You do a great job on capturing the beauty of Colo in all the seasons. HH in Pa :D

Ah yes, the "boys" are growing horns and the "ladies" are dropping calves. Gotta love spring in Colorado. Can't wait to get on my horse and hit the hills.

I bet it's strange to see them this low in late May? Those mountains will probably have snow until July the way it looks...

Hey Tim, we sometimes forget that McBruce lives up around 11,000 feet. If those elk were any higher, they'd be above tree line. :o

actually I live at 10,020 ft

its Pat and Chrissy that live at 11,500 and they are considered to be at tree line :)
