I shoot a 100gr, 3 blade muzzy. I did not decide to shoot 100gr heads and then build an arrow around that, but rather, I looked at the total package weight wise. I could shoot a 75 gr head with my arrows, and have, but 100"s seem to work {fly} better at longer distances.

Good advice there. Let your setup determine for you which weight head shoots better. That's the smart way to go. Trying to match everything to a desired weight is much more difficult than simply screwing on a heavier or lighter head.

Try different weight field points first.

The magic distance is 30yards. Beyond that distance is where you'll see problems, even with field points.

You may find out you can shoot a lot better, a lot further, with a certain weight head ;)
