I have a burning desire to sheep/goat hunt with my 270. My wallet doesnt feel same way.

Just found out I can drive to sheep hunt in AK. That'll be at the end of my 4 month road trip in 2013 ( not too far a way) to AK. Maybe Tok Jct is far enough.

Now that sounds like a plan. If you do not make it part of your plan you will never do it. Keep on planning and hey it can happen.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.

Not to burst your bubble but you should check into this.

As far as I know all non-resident sheep hunters MUST be accompanied by a guide. I believe this is a statewide law.

Supposedly the same is true for Brown/Grizzly bear and goats.

My young concrete contractor friend drew a goat tag in G13, I guess between Independence and Cottonwood Passes in the wlderness. He had 4 points and his wife had 9 points. She didnt draw. And she'd mad. LOL. I told him to take lots of fotos to show off.
