I will never claim to be a fisherman, NEVER EVER NEVER.
However in the last couple of years, I've had the chance to
do some salt water fishing and a canada trip with some great
Walleye and Northern, fishing.

So .....
is this how its suppose to be done?

Ok Fish?

Eric: I was along for the ride, sitting next to the pole that took off spining. The big one is a joint effort. He took 2 lines at once.
Blain and I standing side by side...1,2,3 reel..... 1, 2, 3 reel. ROFLMAO
took us almost 45 mins to land em. One line he took clean down , the 2nd line hooked in his mouth.
amazing day....
but cranking on a rod doesn't make you a fisherman LOL.
Just hooked ;)

Bruce, When I went fishing in NC we were on one of those long piers that stuck out into the Ocean and we were fishing for anything that would bite.
Well I caught what the locals called white fish, nothing big but I did catch a few.
And then I had a bite that I will never forget, When I realed it up to the top of the pier I had myself a stingray (about twice the size of a dinner plate) Man what a rush that was. And then I caught three more that night, that was fun.

As my cousins and I were fishing we had a big stingray (it was bigger than a 55
gal drum) swim right under us. Wish I had a camera.

Those are some good fish Bruce. Bet they made some great meals. I haven't done much deep sea fishing, however, when I lived closer to the coast I really enjoyed the surf fishing on the outer banks. I once caught a 40 pound drum from the surf. The fun thing about fishing in the ocean is that you never know what is going be on the other end of the line. Anything from a small blue fish to a ferocious cobia.

what d' you mean you're not a fishermen?
Maybe being being a fishermen takes fishing as a hobby. but i think if you can catch fish, then you are certified!
