Joe won a bowfishing with me trip in a hunting contest... Here are some pic's of his trip. Deb was a guest who hunted to while I filmed the hunt.

Wow now that looks like a whole lot of fun. What poundage are you guys shooting. I have a stick bow at 37 pounds that I may set up to shoot carp but have never done it.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.

I am shooting my deer hunting bow set at 65... But 45 pounds will work fine on shallow carp. I do find that I am better off with a pass thru or the bigger fish rip the arrow out. But we rarely get pass thrus in shallow water cause the arrow hits bottom before passing thru. With the heavy poundage you also wreck a lot more arrows by shooting into rocks and sunken logs.

Man that's got to be fun. Great shooting too, carp have hard army scales and the big ones fight like a big dog. Hey thanks for sharing those pics. Plus it great practice and keeps you sighted in on game while waiting for deer season to kick back in. I have try that sometime.

Buckmaster; Great photos of a fun time. Thanks for sharing. I have enjoyed those bowfishing journeys a few times in s/w Pa and the tribtaries of Pymatuming lake. HH in Pa :fishing:
