Fox squirrels are some fast moving critters, good shooting.

here in indiana we have the red fox and grey squrriel's . phil i do the same thing to them but i do something different . i boil squrriel, rabbit, and chicken together and then i pick all the bone's out and i added some small cut tater's in the pot and add a little of bbq sauce and cook some white rice and put the meat over the rice on a plate . i call it wildgame hash with rice .

I love fried squirrel. Young greys are the tenderest. Fox squirrels tend to be tougher. I use them for squirrel and dumplings. :)-

brings back alot of great memories, of sitting in the hollow with the little ole .410 h&r waiting on bushy tales, cant wait to hit the woods again with my son and do the same.
