Archery starts early here with the Antelope archery 900 series tags August 15th to November 9th and then the general archery season for deer and elk September 6th and runs until October 19th. Just so everyone knows if I had drawn a moose tag yes I would have bow hunted for the moose. If how ever I do draw one I will shave my head bald and then the skeeters will have fun but then I can put camo paint on my head lol.
Skeeters whats that OH!!! why that's a Montana blood drive. How a could a billion skeeters be wrong. Just bring your shotgun cause they tend to run a little on the large size lol.

Not saying the skeeters are bad here too but with three lakes, numerous ponds and creeks, I carry a side arm to protect myself. They laugh at even the best repellents.  The one repellent that Jason and I have found that really works on biting insects is called "No Stinking Bugs" It also has a dirt cover scent to it. It's not cheap but it does work. Just hard to find sometimes.

PAs Statewide Archery season is from Oct 4 - Nov 15th and a late season from Dec 26 - Jan 10 2009. Don't know yet if I am going to be ready with a cross bow or not.

Can't hardly wait! :boone:

With an Urban deer permit you can pick up a few more anterless deer but you generally have to join a urban program to be able to hunt with in A city limits.

Thermocell is the best thing I've ever come across for mosquitoes and the like. I would buy them for friends for a gift personally.

The season opened Fri Aug 15th here. This is actually gun season but I'm free to bowhunt if I choose.

We can take 1 buck a day here and after Sept 15th we can use up to four doe tags anytime. On designated doe days no tags are required.

The season here runs thru Jan 1st and because of this pressure these are the most nocturnal whitetails in the country.

It'll be a months wait for me. Cant wait till 9/20. Though I'm alittle depressed. My wife sprained her foot doing something dumb (she'll live) but now I had to switch with someone at work to work so I have this saturday off instead of wednesday (which is also my bday), so I can take care of Cassie. My daughter can outrun my wife on crutches. So no practice for me this week.
