Well I have drawn a local tag for the fall turkey hunt, Sept. 1 - Dec. 31. I have a good long time to find them but I really hope they come right to my house for a visit. :)

Last fall I actually called a whole flock in to my location. I also called in 2 bucks at the same time. There I sat with 2 deer behind me at only 20 yds and about 30 or more turkeys in front of me. I actually was set up near a roost area and the turkeys were on their way to roost. I just used a box call and in they came. My problem was which one should I shoot at without the possibility of hitting two or more.

I have week off when our season comes in in October. It will be split between an early season muzzleloader hunt in the Adirondacks of NY and ME and NH for a fall turkey.

I doubt all will be accomplished. :)

Good luck to all fall turkey hunters at HR.
