Has anyone been getting that urge? I have the last couple of days. Tonight I was almost pushed over the edge. We have had a storm front move in with cloud cover, the temp has dropped and there is a slight breeze with the smell of rain. Little nuthatches are making lots of noise and when I closed my eyes I could almost hear bugles. I sure want to chase elk right now.

Elk season is getting very close. I can't wait until it's go time. Anyone else having that elk hunting urge???

Take two Colorado milk duds and call me in the morning. If Colorado milk duds confuses you contact the Fairplay phenom aka Tree shooter.

I like them best during the Berry season when they're full of seeds.

I feel same Jack. We had some darn cool nites last week and my hunting blood kicked in. Esp when I stood out driveway for an hour lookin at the Orion nebula and listening to the local coyotes whoopin it up.
