I thought of you Elkateers this morning and several mornings the past week with the morning temps down into the 40s. That is here in the molehills mountains at a lofty elevation of less than 1300 ft.

Arithris in the hip has really slowed my pre-CO trip hiking to about a non-exsisting stage this time. :help: ...but an ever encouraging Huck said we can plan to "just shoot a little further" :D . I can walk pretty well for a couple miles but know that extra hiking now will only aggravate things so I'm saving myself for the Oct. dance. The cool damp mornings here & leaves starting to change are getting me pumped fer shur. Even Woodhick's lil Chevy is starting to prance in the stable!

Phil if you need exercise bring your chainsaw up to my place. Eric and I have been cutting wood nonstop every day and I can feel it. I have definately increased my strength but not only will your hip hurt but every joint in your body will hurt. I have it worse in my shoulder but when my elbows, wrist, and fingers hurt so bad I tend to forget about the pain in my shoulders.
