The landowner has a 1x3 that's been frequenting the area. He wants me to get him if I can.

There's a 9pt that's been using the area too but he's off limits.

You're deer season starts early.

With the heat are you hunting near a water hole or creek? Good luck getting him down. :bigthumb:

One year I hunted in Kansas the weather was against me too. It is not comfortable at all sitting in the woods when the temps are in the mid 90s and every bug has you zeroed in. Plus the deer weren't moving till almost dark.
If God had a refrigerator would your picture be on it.
Remember the Ark was built by amateurs, the titanic by professionals.

Well at least you got out today, but you never get skunked because it is always a better day out hunting then sitting at home. Good luck on your future hunts.
