In response to a couple questions so far...

Question: Can I use a "Rackulator" to score my deer antlers?

Though we are not requiring officially scored entries, meaning one can simply green score their own deer without having a witness or certified scorer handle the deer, we Do require each participant in the contest to follow Boone & Crockett scoring standards. Those standards call for scorers to use a 1/4" wide flexible steel tape measure and Boone & Crockett scoring sheets. (As is all detailed here.)

Question: Scoring will be by weight of animal not antler size, correct?

Answer: Incorrect. ALL entries MUST be Boone & Crockett green scored per the Official Rules found here.

If anyone else, having already read the Official Rules for the contest, has any other questions please post them here and we will address them in a timely manner.
