You know, when I was much younger, quail hunting was pretty popular. Of course quail numbers were pretty good back then too. I was just thinking that I don't recal anyone ever mentioning it on here. Soooo, my question is," Do any of you quail hunt?" Been ages since I've had any but boy they sure were tasty. :D

I quail hunt quite a bit here in Nebraska. Most of the family land is managed pretty heavily for pheasants and the quail are extremely thick. Not uncommon to limit out on bobwhites and pheasants in a single day.

When I was a kid we had a few quail in these parts. Then clean farming came along and no more quail. Kansas has lots of quail but I have never hunted them there.
