Well today I was finishing filling out my lic applications for this years Elk/Deer/Bear hunting. RL and I had planned on an Archery Pronghorn Hunt mid aug, ( but with him moving, that moved with him )

A group of us are doing a Texas Hog Hunt, in May.

No other big trips planned for this year, that I know of.
I was invited to go back to the Dakotas on a Pheasant hunt. Not sure yet, but the funny thing was, the invite came from someone I met on a hunting forum. Turns out the town he told me they hunt at, is less then an hour away from where I grew up. I got invited back to my old stomping grounds LOL.

wow its a small world.

So what is everyone else plans for this years hunting?

I am leaving for a Kansas turkey hunt 1 week from today. Got the truck all preped already, got my calls and decoys in my turkey vest ready to go and bought several boxes of turkey killer shells. Still have to pack my hunting gear and clothes I AM READY.

Plan on a Sept trip back to Kansas for their muzzleloader deer season.

Our CASTERS hunting club is having a muzzleloader clay bird shoot in early June and then there is the Meat meet in western PA in Aug.

Then there is the vast array of preparations for the arrival of a Co. ruffian who is planning to hunt with us in Dec.

Then planning on attending Elkatraz and hunting whitetail at home in September to Nov 30! In between times we will be fishing, camping and quadding! :)

After this long winter, I would be be happy to go camping somewhere.

Bruce, we should plan a camping trip after your season closes and before our season starts.

Ok if I draw every tag I applied for my fall would look like this.

Montana
Archery Antelope
Mule Deer
Elk
Moose
Sheep
Goat
Wyoming
Mule Deer
Colorado
Elk

This could be the best and busiest fall I have ever had.

Besides May hog hunting....

I'll be chasing anything that's legal and I have time to hunt! :)

Probably mostly smaller game, turkeys, deer, and hogs. Hopefully a little dove a quail hunting thrown in the mix also.

Good luck and happy hunting!
BrandonT
