My wife is due next week so my turkey hunting plans are on hold too. Maybe a quick trip for spring bear after the baby arrives.

Well the baby arrived on Thursday and she and mom are healthy and happy.

PA: What area of Kansas will you be hunting? You know you will be in my stomping grounds.

I am going Turkey hunting in my area, have a few places picked out but I am more excited about a couple of fishing trips I have planned. I have a friend who is coming down from Nebraska; I am taking him Crappie fishing. Then I am heading up to Nebraska to camp and in a few months I am going to make my way to PA to trout fish, camp and cause general mayhem.

DianaB I didn't know the rivers or should I say the fishing and hunting ran deep with you. Cool beans! Let us know how things turn out with your trips.

Kurt congrats to you and your wife on the new arrival. That's great ! Glad to hear they are okay. You can give up and forget about turkey hunting if your child is anything like mine were. Never on schedule and I was always tired from getting up with them at night. Diapers or pamper were just being introduced when they entered my life and made that job super easy. Thank god I didn't have to feed them at that age that was all my wife's job.
