OK first impressions of the 2 newest bows on the market to hit our shop. Definately an eye opener.

9 inch limbs on riser the AR Velocity has little brace height but is a shooter. Real Smooth to draw, a very Solid wall average grip same as the Browning Illusion or PSE Vengance.

PSE MARK X- same as the AR but the grip such as the Diablo with a touch more brace height (then the AR), not as fast. and a bit smoother on release.

The 1 problem I have encountered with both...

There is no serving on the string as it goes over the top idler wheel. This I believe is causing the string to do some funky things..

1- the twist are coming out of one side and loading up on the other causeing the nocking point and peep to creep up the string. Constant adjustment in 30 shots. (Nocking point up 7/16ths of inch)

2- with the peep creeping up the string it is always turning thus difficult to see through.

So we took the string off and cleaned all the wax they put on the idler wheel and string and then served it. Since then 50 shots have been put through it and no movement in the peep or nocking point. Very Easy fix!! B)

Final impression- VERY NICE BOWS !!!
