Well I did go out and buy a new rifle today. Just couldn't help myself. I have been eyeing this Rem. 700 7mm. Well Cabellas had a sale on it so I got it. Hey my wife can buy things on sale so why not me I told her. I mean a women sees sale on a store and "BAR THE DOORS KATE" Well after I walked out of there I guess I spent more than I should have but the rifle was on sale.

Congratulations on the new rifle. The 700 has a good reputation for accuracy and the 7mm I have is a real tack driver of a caliber. I got good results with 140 gr, 154 gr and outstanding results with Nosler Partition 160 gr.

I feel your pain Steve. I just bought a used Honda XR-600R from a buddy. The bike is in excellent condition and priced low and I just couldn't pass it up. Melody didn't quite see it that way.

One time when I was filling out the sales paperwork for a new shotgun the gun shop owner asked if I had a concealed weapons permit.

I replied, "No but I'm gonna need one to get this in the house!" ;)

You should never have to justify buying a new rifle. That is a given right from birth. ;)

Welcome to our little corner of the internet ryalred. I see by your signature you are a reloader a double welcome then.

Steve as I said before that should be a real good rifle, one of the real mags but not too heavy on the recoil.
