Eastern or Osceola?

The answer is both really.

The majority of the birds I hunt here are neither pure eastern nor pure osceola. They are naturally occurring hybrids. Officially they are recognized as easterns by NWTF. They do recognize there is some hybridization in this area but draw the official Osceola line at the Florida border.

This one is greener than he is bronze and his wings are darker than a pure eastern. Not as green nor as dark as a pure Osceola.
