After 9 years of applying, I drew a Wasatch Archery Elk tag. Just got a hit on CC today. Got a head start as I joined a health club this winter and have been putting some work in. This gives me more than enough incentive to shed some more pounds. Now the work begins on researching the area and gathering information. I already got an offer from one guy on www.monstermuleys.com for info, etc on the area as he lives there and have another contact that used to guide hunters in that area. I'm pumped as I've been waiting a long time for this one. Can't wait till September...

Cool, good luck on that. www.monstermuleys.com and www.muliemadness.com are two great sites with some great guys on them. I made a friend off muleymadenss and got to see some new territory with a young hunter. Maybe you'll kill a big un.

Thanx All, that's one nice thing about drawing this tag is that I've had a few people offer scouting info and also spots to check. It took me 9 years to draw archery tag so it's not like I'll be back there anytime soon. Plus there is a 5 year waiting period before I can start applying again. Is it September yet??? :D
