Well, I officially got my shirt size and bow choice submitted to Joel today.
So, you're looking at the newest Mathews Factory Pro Staff Shooter.

Words can't even describe how blessed I feel. A wise man once told me that stuff like this in life is just gravy; the main course being the finding of who you are in Christ and embracing God's will for your life. Amen to that! I have to admit though that this is some very good tasting gravy. :)

   Congrats Jeremiah. Pretty cool. I have seen a few guys at the 3rd leg of the national championship for the IBO that had Pro Staff Mathews shirts on. Looked pretty cool.

What does that mean being a

Mathews Factory Pro Staff Shooter

?

What bow did you ask for and why? Just curious.

It means that I am directly sponsored by Mathews Inc. to shoot their equipment. (I am not sponsored through a local shop or in a co-op type of situation.)

The highest previous level I shot at was the Hoyt National Shooting Staff a few years back. This is a sponsorship program through your regional Hoyt Representative. (So, it's a step above shop shooter, but still below a factory shooter.) Of all of the people out there wearing a shirt or hat at a shoot, the percentage is quite low (I'm thinking under 5%) that are actually sponsored directly by the given bow manufacturer. Needless to say, this makes my situation a humbling honor.

I will be representing Mathews and Carter (hopefully some more too eventually) competitively this coming fall/winter in indoor (primarily Vegas face) shooting. Given my height and draw length, I went with the longest target bow Mathews offers which is the Apex. (Just looking for the best string angle fit. The Conquest 4 was my second choice.)

The goal is to be here eventually. Of course, I will continue to promote through hunting as well.
