I finally saw this whistle pig looking out of it's hole. I have known its been around eating up my landscape for a couple of years and knew it's borrow was under my garden shed. It saw me when I saw it and it dropped back down so I had the game on and waited. I was about 30 yards off and all I had was a throat and head shot so I took it. It dropped down but the arrow stopped him and it didn't take any time for the shot to finish him off.

The silent hunter :)

Hey Mark, David and Lorrie said the gophers are worse this year than any year past. Want to know if any one is up for a gopher hunting trip :) food and lodging included.

Good shooting. You just may get something to eat from your garden this year.

Thanks! Things were getting slow with hunting stuff every where so I thought I'd share something. Varmint shooting with a bow is fun.

Bruce it be very tempting if it wouldn't take two long days for me to get there. They're good folks as well. I am sure it would be a fun time hunting mini bears, or the sequel to mini bears 1.

They had friends from Saskatoon come down last weekend. using .22's the group shot over 7000 rounds and yet there are more mini bears to hunt :)

I told em I suggested it to you....they asked if we were going to bring Pat along as well. LOL.

Nice! Looks like you've been more successful with your bow than our neighbor has been with their traps.
