IP.Board 3.0.0 (which is the forum software we use here) went "Final" Release yesterday.
As such, we upgraded this morning.

You may now notice that addresses to various things on the forum and blogs are a lot easier to understand.

The old "unfreindly" format was...

As said, blogs are following suit. "Coalman's Blog", for example, is now...

This feature not only makes it easier on all of us to remember addresses, but it also makes it a lot easier for search engines like Google to crawl and index our content. Needless to say this is a great step forward for us.

In case anyone was wondering, you do not really need to do anything due to this change. Entering the "old" format address will automatically forward you to the new address. That said, if you have any specific locations "bookmarked" as favorites in your browser, you may still wish to update them.

As always, members are encouraged to report any bugs they find with our site. There is even a Bug Report Post recently started for the new forum software upgrade where members can track the status of known bugs as well as report their own bug finds.
